Too often ladies’ watch designs seem phoned in, and not afforded the considered dignity of men’s watches. And that’s a serious shame.
Not so this neat Omega De Ville Ladymatic! With its funky, two-tone bracelet, mother of pearl dial, and diamond indices, it’s an original design with a chronometer-certified movement from a collection dating back to 1955.
This particular Ladymatic, a Reference 425.20.34.20.55.003 from the 2020s, is housed in a 34mm stainless steel and yellow gold case with a sapphire crystal, a signed, yellow gold crown, and a polished, stainless steel bezel. It features a lovely mother of pearl dial with applied diamond indices, a lumed ‘dagger’ handset, and a date wheel at 3 o’clock.
Paired to a two-tone, stainless steel and yellow gold multi-link bracelet with a signed, push-button deployant clasp, it’s powered by the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8520 automatic movement. Visible via a sapphire exhibition caseback, this movement is chronometer-certified and features a 50-hour power reserve.
TL;DR: This is no chintzy, throwaway design, but a well considered watch with beautiful appointments from one of the world’s best watchmakers.
We know you’ll love it!
